Cross-Country Skiing

The carefully designed tracks offer countless possibilities and optimal conditions for all. From the sports runner to the classic recreational skier, everyone has their place and can evolve at their own pace, while enjoying an unparallelled view of the Valais mountains. With its optimal snow conditions and generous sun, Valais has everything you need for a perfect day of cross-country skiing. And now, on the track!

The Grand Paradis cross-country skiing circuit, for example, is the ideal training ground for beginner, intermediate or expert skiers, a stone's throw from Champéry. The Grand Paradis cross-country ski slope, located just 2 kilometres after the village of Champéry, is easily accessible by car - or by free shuttle during the opening hours of the ski lifts.

We recommend the slightly more difficult loop, 'Les Planchamps', which is added to two other first loops to form a circuit of about 5 kilometres, prepared for classic and skating, with about 100 metres of elevation gain. The first two loops form a 2.4-kilometre circuit, illuminated for night skiing every night until 9 p.m.
