Hiking
Grab the cards and compasses, buckle the backpacks, lace the shoes... And slam the door.
Welcome outside: no matter the route, elevation gain or plan chosen, here everything is adventure and no one is of age anymore. Blueberry hunting is an expedition in the same way as climbing a summit or trail running. The freshness of the undergrowth will have the same flavour for all types of explorers.
In our mountains, trees, streams and minerals capture your senses, rivers and lakes make you miraculous peaches or invigorating swims, the oily grass of these vast alpine pastures promise frantic races or sunny naps.
Everything is there to gain height by returning to the sources... Once the sun has disappeared, those who wish to stay outside, again, and will let the night surround them so as not to miss anything of the beauty of the starry sky... Before the arrival of a new day to invent.
Suggestions for magnificent hikes between 1700 and 2100m. altitude.
- La Tovassière - Lac de Chésery: The ride starts with about 1km flat (to warm up), before attacking the hardest and steepest part of the entire loop. Throughout this journey, you can admire the view of the Morgins Valley.
- Lac de Chésery - Lac Vert: Between the two lakes, the path winds through the alpine pastures (in a slight climb). Green Lake is an ideal place for a picnic at noon. The alpine pasture refreshment of the Chésery refuge is located next to Lake Green.
- Lac Vert - Portes de l'Hiver: To reach the Portes de l'Hiver, two possibilities: the pedestrian path (on the right of the lake) or the stony path (on the left). The latter is easier, avoids crossing the rock and offers a nice look at the Green Lake and the swamps.
- Portes de l'Hiver - Portes du Soleil: Throughout the descent to the Portes du Soleil, the view of the Dents du Midi is grandiose.
- Portes du Soleil - La Tovassière: The return to the Tovassière presents no particular difficulty.
